what's happening to the LOWRIDER??? took a cruise on sat. night and on sunday here in Mcallen and did not see a single LOWRIDER...We talk about keeping the LOWRIDER seen alive but we seem to take our cars out only at the shows. this site is a great way to communicate amongst each other so let start spreading the word about gatherings and /or cruises..thx Paul

Cruising Saturday nights is usually in harlingen, I think if we wanna keep it alive we gotta respect each other and go to different spots ex. Harlingen sat night, Sunday weslaco park, and other events that come up

the point im trying to make is not about respect... respect is there, but there could be reasons why some people cant make long trips...(gas,mechanical,ins etc.) what im trying to say is that there are plenty of lowriders living around cruising cities like Rio Grand City, Mcallen, Harlingen, and Brownsville use this site to tell other in your cruising area whos going out and where so there can be a strength in numbers instead of having two or three Lowriders scattered through out the city...if cruising is happening on sat. in Harlingen and the city park in Weslaco on sun. then lets post and make sure people are aware that there will be a gathering instead of taking it for granted that there is cruising every weekend cause ivebeen to Harlingen and Weslaco on these days and its been dead...thx Paul

i know what u mean, but some do feel disrespected when they dont show up in their town to cruise, you make a great point using the site and the reasons behind not being able to make it but there are many that can thats why i saw show a little love show up in a different spot every once in a while not the same spots all the time (im speaking in general not directed towards paul)

Yeah I know it sucks but we should then assign a certain day to cruise if their is a major event like boxing or something we schedule it around it that's what I think so we can all know and show up

I actually bumped into you a few months back at a cruise (thursday) and it sucks. Cuz you were the ONLY lowrider out that night. Te salude, but my cars been down for a while I was in a truck. It should be out by next week, maybe even this one. It's just a daily, nothing special. But maybe we can get a cruise going on next thursday?

veteranos cruises weslaoco park every sunday because its close. honestly who wants to go cruising far from there town. we have been going there for about 15 years now and sometimes you just dont feel like taking your cars out. no disrepect to anyone but sometimes people finish there cars and thats when they want to cruise the park. lowriders are not daily drivers especially in this heat so us as veteranos will go to the park either in the lows or our dailys but the point is we get togheter and talk about cars. the lows are still there but people also dont want to get hassled especially most of the guys in our club cause we dont have insurance

WESLACO PARK IS THE PLACE WHERE THERE'S MORE ACTION IN AND IT'S A GOOD PLACE WHERE THE KIDS CAN GO OUT AND PLAY WELL AT LEAST FOR US WE ALWAYS TAKE OUR KIDS, THE WEST SIDE PARK WAS A GREAT PLACE ALSO BUT CAUSE OF ALL THOSE STUPID DUMB ASS PEOPLE WHO CAN'T BEHAVE RIGHT ALWAYS HAVE TO FUCK UP THINGS (FIGHTING, BURNING TIRES U NAME IT) I'VE SEEN POLO, GEORGE, THE MOLINA BROTHERS,VETERANOS CC, DUKES CC FIRME CC AND US (TRADITIONALS CC) WE ALL SURE GO OUT AND CRUISE THE PARK BUT HOPEFULLY EVERYONE ELSE CAN COME OUT AND CRUISE JUST LIKE THEM OLD TIMES. LET'S KEEP THE LOWRIDER THYME ALIVE.. ;D ;D.IRIS
