I know its going threw everyones minds ... when i say wheres all the lowriders at ? Is lowridering only one day now .. like a day of a car show or just a day to hang out at the park .. the reason im saying something cause I haven't really seen much out of the lowridering secne this year ... I kno there some people out there that go cruzin on cruise nights .. and they stop going cause of the trucks now of days all around just fucking shit up ... I know its true cause I been there at times when it happens.. I think we gotta start a new movement for the lowrider scene .. so all new coming riders .. can ride n continue the scene n make it some what different n better every year .. but wat the hell its just my opinion .. im always gonna low ride .. but I just wanna see the scene change n not be dead anymore .. and actually see lowriders driving down the block .. n not these stupid trucks burning rubber and fuckin shit up for us !! .. whats your guys opinions or whats the new options out there .. I know I aint the only rider that thinks like this ..

On a serious note I just think the scene went back to the way it was before it started again where unity is not there, sure some do hangout but not as before. at the end of the day no website, council, club or person can change that only the people if the people don't go out then their is nothing. if we don't change then nothing will be done, Lowriding will never die but it will never be the same if we keep the mentality of not going out there every once in a while.

I see wat u are saying danny .. and that is true .. the people do have to make the choice to go out and hang and even cruise down the block a once and a while

Yea that's is tru .. The truck scene is going big ... I just don't like that they use stock wheels n a lil of mods .. And they say it's custom ... I find that a lil weird

I guess back to he original topic. I remember as a young buck hanging out at the car wash in 23 rd street and it being packed with lowriders. There was always a club or two in involved in parades and car shows would bring in lowriders from all over texas. I remember going to car shows at the Villareal, McAllen and pharr convention center and there being rows of lowrider cars and bikes on display. I guess my point is I don't really think it's died I just think times have changed and people have different priorities now. I bet 95% of those that used to cruise back then are still involed in lowriding in one way or another.

Aye but I know what you mean. You hardly see low lows cruising down the street any more. I give props to those few clubs who have survived through the years and that keep showing up to shows. Like Lil Rob said "I lowride till I Die"

This topic is played out. Every year this question is asked and it is obvious low riding isn't the same anymore and probably won't be for a long time. Low riding was big in the late 70's and early 80's then it faded out but you still had some people that stayed true when it did. Then in the 90's it took off again and was huge. It has faded out again and again some of us remained true. So the question shouldn't be is it dead but rather when will it explode again? Mini trucks are already making a come back so maybe the cycle has begun and low riding is next??

There is alot of cruising and events people just need to communicate better, example use the website to promote or go passs out flyers. Facebook is a good thing but not everyone has Facebook.

Congratulations to Bobby Garza from Alamo, TX for having his 1987 Cutlas (RM) featured on lowridermagazine.com. I guess this goes to prove Lowridering is not dead in the valley. Although the scene is not as obvious as it was years ago, there are a lot of lowriders and Lowrider clubs representing. Thanks to those who manage the websites and work hard to put together shows and events.
