Yeah, the body is surprisingly solid. The windows from what I've heard if they're straight they're not that expensive to have made. I'm praying the hookup my cousin had still stands

Gracias. For real though, pinche carro is solid. I don't think it would take more than 5g's to get it looking decent.

Orale Yeyo, nice project there. 1st of all the steering wheel you have there is known as a Butterfly steering wheel. It's an accessory for those years. Also hold on to the door panel and all interior stainless trim so you can reuse them down the line. As far as the side glass, there are several places that can do them for you at a good price because the glass is flat. If the windshield and rear window are also flat someone can redo them for you...A good source is also chevybombs.com. Alot of good info and good people who will help you. Alot of veteranos there..
If you continue on the project you will realize what a bomb builder goes through. Don't forget these bombs come with alot of chrome and stainless trim which can get expensive..I don't want to discourage you..I just want you to be prepared..If you need any help with looking for parts feel free to ask here..We'll help you with whatever we can..Alrato, Emilio..

Good looking out Emilio. I had no idea about the steering wheel. I think the windshield is two straight pieces, not sure. I'll check tomorrow. The rear one is in excellent shape. Yup, I've been a member of chevybombs for a while now, just hardly post at all. Might have to start frequenting it a bit more now. I think I have all the parts except for maybe a "deluxe" emblem that's broken. Yeyo, Emilo covered modt of the important stuff. Thanks Alan. I do have all the stainless trim for the car just a few of them are banged up, most just need a little buffing. I'll hit you up for sure, gracias.

that rid eis gonna be sweet once done loco Gracias, I hope so. I just got to have some restraint with bombs. Got to keep it tasteful, nothing too over the top. nice project. good luck with it homie. on the way from the island i think i found a 59 el camino and in san benito saw 3 bombs in a empty lot. sucks when you see these nice projects but on money in pocket to make offers. o'well. atleast you know where there at. Thanks, yeah I know what you mean. A few years back I was in Laredo and some vato had a white 65 ss impala for sale........CLEAN inside and out! on red rallys for about 3,500 or so.

not a bad looking car the body looks really solid. once you start primering you will see that it is not really that bad, just looks ugly. dont be afraid my fleetline was 5x worse. I suggest you strip all the paint off so you can see what is under there and start new. save money and do as much as you can yurself. dropping in a V-8?

That's the plan, I want to do as much myself as possible. But I don't want to mess it up either, if I see I can't do it, I'm taking it to the pros. I've had that lt1 for a while. I really would rather have the straight six on there, but if it's seized up I might just do that.

Looks more like off a mid 40's car or something..... o es un equalizer That appears to be a radio tuner..It looks like it's missing the numbers plate on the left side and it's just showing the wood that's behind the plate..I want to say it's from the 50's era. I need to see more angle pics..

I'll take more pics this weekend.
