Edgar, my advice would be cut it. Do it right the first time, if you did all that work to get the car where its at right now dont let the rear end stop you. I havent been in the valley a long time but I remember having Joe from Joes welding fix a rear someone screwed up for me. I tried to do it cheaper and cost me more in the long run. He moved from Mission to Mcallen, but I cant remember the street. Not sure but its the street where Tex Mex Club is at, just look for the hot rods in his place. He can cut the rear and axles right the first time. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE HOMIE, THATS MORE THAN LIKELY WHAT I'M GONNA DO AND ITS PROBABLY THE RIGHT WAY TO DO IT. I REALLY APPRECIATED.

You can also look for some of those long fox craft skirts, like the ones they put on 58 and 59's. So you won't have to cut the rear.

OH I KNOW WEY, ITS COOL. I DIDN'T TAKE IT AS AN INSULT BRO. I GOT NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR EVERY ONE. SORRY IF I SOUNDED A LITTLE AGGRESSIVE. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW THAT COMPARED TO ALL THE PROBLEMS I'VE HAD WITH THE 64, THE REAREND PROBLEM WON'T BE A BIG DEAL.

edgar if you still have the banana bar, and hydro's when you lift the car. the axle will move 2 one side and push the skirt out! OH BUT I FORGOT TO TELL YOU THAT ITS NOT ONLY WHEN I LIFT THE CAR, MY SKIRTS DON'T FIT NO MATTER WHAT HEIGHT I HAVE THE CAR AT. IT COULD BE SLAMMED TO THE FLOOR OR LOCKED UP OR JUST REGULAR DRIVING HEIGHT.
