The Lowrider Movement hit real hard back in 94-96.....back then it was tight
Cruisin 10th st on Saturday nights...then hittin Anzaldua's Sunday afternoon, then Westside Park after that.
However it has died down alot due to trend setters, at least in my opinion. Alot of so-called die hard Lowriders traded their 13's for 18's (at that time) and so on and so on.
Alot of the people I know now are still the same people who were lowriding back then. Now youngsters are brainwashed into wanting the "Baller" lifestyle and lowriding dosent fit into that persona.
I even logged into my comp just to reply to this topic haha ;D u just wanted to post up smilies lol

Uh-Oh First thing I'm going to do this Friday when I get home is close those check valves. Lo bueno es que lo tengo parked todo el tiempo a el carro. So no lo uso mucho, pero I have hit the ground a couple of times.

I think that show was in 94.....I could be mistaken though, I got a bad memory
I was honestly hopin that with the new McAllen Convention Center opening up soon it would direct LRM to make a tour stop again but they canceled out the San Anto and Dallas tour so I highly doubt it now.

i think the problem is people like u all say are brainwashed into "whats in now" for instance i love lowriders and i like suvs with 24's and air bags but i prefer to own a low anyday of the year, maybe someday ill get one maybe not but to this day ive always had a low even before i had a license and a daily driver i wouldnt change that for anything, dont get it wrong people still like lowriders and accept little by little and now thats its more mainstream it aint gonna die down ,its just most lowriders now can afford a daily driver and have their low. thats just my 2 cents might be wrong or right i dont know but thats what i think

No you probably are right. I'm pretty sure very few people have as bad a memory as I do. About LRM making a stop in the Valley. Yeah, I don't see that happening. But really, with them letting in every kind of car now, I'm not sure if I should feel bad.

Actually, funny you mention it. I met a LIL member about two weekends ago at a gas station in Roma. He was rolling a candy red Yukon XL with 24's. I knew the guy wasn't from around, because every place has their own style in how they fix up rides. He told me he was a member of BLVD ACES, forgot what his screen name was though ....... 94.....BLVD....something. Caught me off guard at first. He was like, hey you know where/when they cruise around here. Aren't you from LIL. I thought it was somebody I had gotten into a disagreement with on there. I was ready to start swinging ;D
