I've been back and forth with the idea of swaping out the 4.3 tbi for a 5.7 tbi cause there wasn't much for upgrades to the 4.3. I started looking around and found a lot of chrome and aluminuim goodies for setting up a carbed version of the 4.3. I found carbs, aluminuim intakes, custom cams, valve covers, HEI distributor for the v6 I meen everything. So it got me thinking I should keep the v6 and jazz it up. What do u homies think.

Its an 86 MC LS. The weight difference isn't that much and I really don't wanna put the 350 in just yet. I wanted to see just how far I can take the 4.3 since its really an under played engine.

I got it from someone on this site. I think the post in the for sale section is still there. Its the one with the suicide hood and grey panel paint job. I traded a camero I had for it. It wasn't my first pick but the car is ok for me.

That's pretty trick!!
If I remember correctly the old GMC Typhoons and Syclones were 4.3 vortec factory turbo charged engines so there should be a decent sized aftermarket for them considering they still put a good ass whooping on the lightnings.
