i got a 64 impala w a massive lock up w y bone but the rear end seems to move to the driver side i was thinking of running a square tubing from the lower trailing arms to the rear end but not sure the lower trailing arm r moved further up im stumped first time i had this problem im sure i will figure it out but i would like ur imput thanks

Post pics so we can get a better idea of how your set up is layed out. There is a bunch of creative people on here and am sure they will point you in the right direction.

With the y bone it shouldn't ,I'm guessing its because of the lock up, but I think a wishbone for massive lock ups work better. But like the homie said post pics

Check to see if the panhard bar is still connected, it shouldnt be if its a y-bone cuz. The y-bone and wishbone are so that the differencial can move downward, panhard bar causes a few problems and the most common is tearing the carrier bearing (bearing inside the x-frame tunnel). cant u just entend the panhard bar so that it wont pull the diff. to driver side. just saying.
