Seeing that there has been some shows conflicting with local events which would you support by attending and why?

I love both kind of shows but in reality id rather support local events if it falls on the same date the reason why is most of the out of town shows don't really show us love even if we do go what I mean is them supporting our events its been a few events they have came too even though we normally go to theirs.

I would support local n out of town..reasoning being is that in my family lowridering is more than jus a hobby..o something to do..its a way of life to us..da feeling of waking up early in da moring loading up da lowlow on to a trailer n hitting da road..seein da big smiles on my kids face as other cars pass us up n saying yea thats a cool car..is price less..our goal in my family is yea to attened shows here in da valley but also to get out there into da big shows n be known...if u take ur car jus to show it..pos thats jus a show...but if u take tu familia..pos thats jus a bigger thing than jus a show..besides its summer..n i know alot of guys as kids would of love to go to out of town shows n see different things so when u come back u had many stories to tell

Local.....
Out of town shows are great to attend but if it came down to a show on the same date I'll attend the shows here. It's a challenge and we look what is scheduled before we set a date for a show to avoid an overlap.

I agree with you there, lowriding was main stream in the mid 90's, with all the rap videos showing up from the west coast, street hopping and car dancers there was action everywhere.

You just have to have a good time regardless, we all know a few people that use to lowride but now they don't, went on to motorcycles or trucks.....which is cool .........but the true lowriders still here regardless of what's "hot" or "popular". The best days are ahead of us I always say, because we can DO something about it.

I agree the scene may not be the same but again its up to us to make it the way it was, even though many of us don't compete to win it should be a good thing when you do its for all the hard work not to mention many car clubs as well as promoters go out of their way to buy the plaques or trophies I've seen some just toss em out which to each his own but if we show that its maybe sending the message that we don't care which may be affecting us as well
