I want to do as much work as possible myself to the impala. The most important tool is probably an air compressor. I want to use it for air tools, sander, die grinder, etc. Also want to spray paint/primer, and use it to sand blast (not as important cause all I got to do is fill a separate tank). Anyway what do you vatos recommend? What do I need to make sure it has, large gal capacity? CFM's? Oil lubed motor, twin? Whats more important? Help me out, I'm lost I was thinking it might be similar to spec-ing an air bag system? How to big a tank can actually work worse than a smaller with compressors matched to fill it up quicker........if that makes any sense?

well I'm not an expert but from what I know the cfm's are important u need a high number for some tools to work properly also since its for personal use u don't need to go crazy on it since most of the time one tool will be used at a time I do recommend a large tank so u won't be hearing it go and off, plus it impacts the speed of the tools when ur low on air also another important thing the draining of the tanks if u don't do that water comes out of thru the hose affects u normally when painting hope this helps. for the cfm's I think if I remember correctly 18 and above is better not sure on that one.

I RECOMEND THAT U LOOK FOR A COMPRESSOR WITH A LARGE PISTON COMP RATHER THAN LOOKING FOR A BIG TANK A 30 GAL TANK SHOULD BE PERFECT BUT MOST IMPORTANT IS THE ACTUAL COMPRESSOR
THE BIGGER THE COMP THE LESS THE COMP HAS TO WORK TO FILL THE TANK

Good looking out vato, I appreciate the help. I decided to hold off on the compressor for a while until I can afford the one I want.
