Alright so I've taken out about 10 starters in my lifetime with no problems. My cadillac's starter just gave out on me. I went under there to remove it and DAMN!! How the hell are you supposed to get that thing out? There's 2 METAL transmission oil lines, a metal brace, and the Y pipe from the exhaust is also just under it!!! Am I not seeing something or is the only way to get it out from under there is to cut your exhaust ...........and I thought the fan design was retarded

Nevermind, I think I figured it out. Fuel lines have a little play which should be good enough. Starter can probably be maneuvered around the exhaust pipes, but the brace isn't coming out unless I remove the lower A-arm. HA! Guess I'll get to put in the new bushings while I'm at it
